CONGRATULATIONS MOMO US ARMY TEAM AND JIAN SHOKOUHI

On Wednesday, May 5, the Momentum Chicago office was visited by LTG Benjamin C. Freakley, the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Accessions Command.  With Chris Weil in attendance, LTG Freakley addressed the Army team and thanked them for their outstanding work in events and sponsorship, helping the Army exceed its recruiting mission.

Referencing the All-American Bowl, NASCAR and NHRA programs, and the highly visible "Strength in Action" tours, LTG Freakley recognized the innovation Momentum has delivered and encouraged the team to continue out-of-the-box thinking.

The highlight of the day came when LTG Freakley honored one of our own, Jian Shokouhi, Manager, Business Leadership.  Jian was presented with a General's coin, which is a long-standing Army tradition in recognizing individuals who go above-and-beyond in their service to the U.S. Army.  Jian was reminded to "always put the mission first" and "never leave a fallen Soldier behind".  Words that are directly transferable to how Momentum moves it forward.

Congratulations to all!  Way to go!

Momentum Chicago has executed the U.S. Army Strength In Action Tours since its inception to the Army's portfolio of assets in February 2008. The Strength In Action Tours are 4 regionally based mobile tours that support the U.S. Army's NASCAR, NHRA, and All-American Bowl (AAB) sponsorships in addition to major fairs, festivals, air shows, music events, high school and college outreach for local Battalions across the country.

The goal of the Tours is to maximize the recruiting effort by presenting a unique opportunity for Recruiters to engage with Prospects and Influencers while creating a memorable, authentic Army experience.

The Tours are activating at 180 events from February through November 2009 and anticipating upwards of 200,000 registered attendants while generating more than 75,000 qualified leads for the Army.
